A recent New York Times Whole Foods article (below) caught my attention, not because it was controversial, but because it reminded me why I have believed in the Whole Foods mission from the very beginning. It has truly helped shape my business in the natural products channel. Whole Foods has never needed to declare a political stance to make an impact. From the start, it quietly championed a simple, powerful idea: that what we put in and around our bodies matters. This has always resonated with me.
For over thirteen years, Off The Shelf Reps has proudly shared in that mission, helping bring healthier, more sustainable, and more inspiring products to grocery shelves across the country. You, our suppliers, have helped us fulfill that mission. From hand-poured candles to artisan gifts, the work we do has always been about more than sales. It’s about helping shoppers discover products that elevate everyday living and honor the planet along the way.
This month, our 12 member rep team will be in Whole Foods stores across the country, supporting the Whole Foods November Candle Sale. We will be sharing stories about the brand behind the scents and reminding everyone that wellness isn’t just what we eat—it’s what we breathe, touch, and surround ourselves with. We will also be helping to drive sales and engage with customers during this very busy time of the year.
It’s always energizing to see our reps connecting directly with shoppers—listening, educating, and sparking conversations. This is what we do best: connecting values with products, and products with people.
If you are near one of the Whole Foods stores listed below stop in and say hi!
So here’s to staying the course—to partnerships rooted in purpose, reps lighting the way in stores nationwide, and to all the shoppers rediscovering the joy of intentionality. And most of all to a terrific start to the Holiday season and a wonderful 4th quarter!
